Hello Post 4 family. We hope everybody had a great holiday season. Here’s a little recap of the Riders activities since we last were here. November saw us riding in The Metro Detroit Veterans Coalition Parade thru Corktown. It’s always an Honor to ride it this event and Honor our Veterans. Our chapter had 15 Riders come out and support this event this year. A nice turnout for sure. Next up was our December Breakfast where we gave all Veterans who attended a free Breakfast. We fed over 50 Veterans that day. 12 of those Veterans were residents of the Sugarbush Veterans Home, it’s always good to see those folks out. Late December saw us baking cookies to deliver to our First Responders in the area. A gesture that is always appreciated. So, what’s up next for us Riders you may ask? Well even though our bikes maybe be tucked away for the Winter months we aren’t stopping. First up will be our monthly Breakfast January 7, 2024 8am-12pm. Those that have been know we throw a mean Breakfast. Those that haven’t been, well you owe it to yourself to stop by and check it out. And what is Breakfast without a Bloody Mary/ Mimosas Bar? Well, we got you covered there as well. Our Breakfasts will be running on the 1st Sunday of the month thru April. January 27, 2024 5pm-730pm we will be having our ever-popular Polish Night. You don’t want to miss that one. Good old Polish dishes like your grandma used to make. Tickets are $15.00 each and are on sale now in the Lounge and thru several Riders. Don’t miss this one! Along with those activities our Officers are gearing up to plan our biggest event of the year, our 4th Annual Blessing of The Bikes along with a couple other events. Details in the next few months. And lastly, I'd like to say Thank you to all our Legion Family, Volunteers and friends that come out and support our endeavors. Without your support these things would not be the successes they are.
